Yes, but this one is different. This is about the music that sits at the intermission between pre-parenthood and your kids having their own music. That time in your life you want to keep listening to your music but you can’t have your kid walking into preschool singing
I didn’t even have to use my AK. Today was a good day.
There is, of course, “kids music” but if you have to listen to another Dr Jean song you might just poke an ice pick in your ear.
So, what to do? You probably came here when you realized that your kids were paying attention to the words in the songs that you just silently hummed along to. You weren’t ready to have ‘that conversation’ with your 4 year old but some song gave them about kissing, hugging and “masterbating with a magazine”.
